Yes Sir no more article that reeks with ultra nationalist right wing political propaganda (for now) and back to good old stories.
which is about seven of you. I would like to talk about supporting our local artists.
When we drive in the car we usually would listen to radio station that plays nice music and notice that most of those music are not from the local scene.
Hitz.fm, Mix fm and even Lite fm seem to dislike local music though once in a blue moon they do play them. We used to complain that local music suck balls and that was partly true especially when one hear impressive emotional songs from Malay bands that use English names like Scoin, Spoon and Spin. Ironically these bands only sing in Malay.
Their main theme is "Rindu", "Sayang", "Cinta" and "Kasih" with the same rhythm due to their lack of mastering musical instruments.
But these days we do have good bands like Meet Uncle Hussain, some tudung girl that sang at KlPac the other day, flop poppy, OAG, the times, Spider, Ahli Fikir and that indie band.
Often in our playlist are filled with foreign music which is nothing wrong in that (for I do it as well) but let's try and support the local music scene.
Seriously ladies and Gentlemen,
Be a fan like many other Malaysians who are already confessing their love towards our local music scene by downloading illegal Mp3 on the internet for free and fill them in their playlist and portable digital music player.
Then loudly proclaim and sing out loud the songs that you love and claim loudly that you are a huge fan of the local music scene eventhough you never buy any of their album and merely ripped it off from the internet.
Then Malaysians being Malaysians,
we blame the government and society when our local artiste can't seem to find any money out of their music and for not helping our local artiste.
"I am a huge fan of OAG you know, I memorize all of their awesome songs and particularly love 60's TV and oooh the other day I just downloaded one of their latest single bla bla bla..."
Yet we ask at why Shah Rukh Khan is given a datukship when the answer is pretty obvious.
Sinatra_Z saying things as it is, even when it hits him right in the face.
